Commercial activities which were a significant part of the daily life of the cities and towns, and even rural life to a certain extent... And the tradesmens of the bazaars, the craftsmen who produced goods with their savings in the pre-industrial period, and the merchants who brought these products to the consumer…. The author tried to think of and visualize each of them as if she was living in an Ottoman city, town and bazaar. This book is also a tribute to the history of the author's family, who were tradesmen and merchants, and to her parents who supported her in her studies.
