Melis Ergenekan graduated from the French Lycee Notre Dame de Sion in 2000 and from Galatasaray University in 2005. She accomplished her master's degree in the field of European Studies at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3. She finished he PhD studies at the Yeditepe University in January 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Feroz Ahmad. The present book is her Ph.D dissertation.
