Jewish Journalism and Press in the Ottoman Empire and Turkey

This edited volume is a collection of studies on the Judeo-Spanish (Ladino) press of the Ottoman Empire. Now defunct newspapers published in Constantinople, İzmir and Salonika, cities where a sizable Sephardi population lived are the subject of the various articles collected in this volume. In addition to newspapers, well-known journalists of the epoch as well as Hebrew printing is also among the subjects of studies of this volume.
