Orhan AYBERS, was born in Ankara in 1949. He attended Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1966 and received his degree of Doctor of Medicine in 1975. In 1976 he started training in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery at Ankara Numune Hospital and after receiving his degree of specialty in 1979, he has been practising as an ENT Surgeon. In 1997 he started his studies in history at the Department of History, Middle East Technical University receiving his PhD degree in History in 2003.
