Zafer Sagdic is not only an architect, but also she is an architectural historian. She received her Masters Degree from Istanbul Technical University in 1999 and PhD degree from Yildiz Technical University in 2006. She has attended various conferences all over the world and is the author of various papers about architecture history. She also wrote two books, Ottoman Row House Group: Akaretler and Ottoman Bureaucracy and Palace Architecture.
