She was born in 1993 in Ankara. She completed her secondary education in Ankara Nallıhan Anatolian High School and her undergraduate education in Boğaziçi University in the department of Turkish Language and Literature. She continued her studies on Turkish Literature at İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University and worked as a research assistant and a part-time instructor at the same institution. In addition to her graduate studies, she is interested in the studies concerning refugee rights and gender issues; and currently writes for several magazines and newspapers.
